About the job
The DLT Science Foundation (DSF) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Crypto Research Assistant for a short-term internship (4 weeks, compensated). This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a cutting-edge initiative at the intersection of cryptocurrency and AI, and to lead from and learn alongside leading researchers in these fields.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Crypto Research Assistant, you will contribute to an exciting project focusing on crypto technology, crypto history, crypto economics, and crypto sustainability. You will have the chance to collaborate closely with and learn directly from leading experts in the fields of cryptocurrency and AI, gaining unique insights and experience. You will assist in evaluating academic literature, analysing data, and supporting the research team in
developing insights that advance our understanding of the crypto landscape.
Duties include:
- Assist in researching and evaluating literature on various aspects of cryptocurrency.
- Support the research team in data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports and presentations.
- Ensure that all research activities are structured, methodical, and detail-oriented.
Skill requirements
The ideal applicant will be characterised by:
- Basic knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work in a structured manner.
- Interest in the intersection of crypto and AI.
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- A strong work ethic.
This is a hybrid role with in-person attendance 3 days/week.
